Can you fly a drone to film or photograph in Canada?
Drones from 250 g to 25 kg are registered with Transport Canada ($5) and marked with the number. Pilots need a Basic certificate (online exam) for flying away from people, or an Advanced certificate (exam plus flight review) to fly near people or in controlled airspace.
