Can you fly a drone to film or photograph in Thailand?

Every drone is registered with the NBTC, and camera drones also with CAAT, whatever their weight; visitors need a Thai SIM and an arrival stamp first, and CAAT approval takes up to 14 days. Since February 2026 each flight is notified 3 days ahead on the UAS Portal; maximum 90 m, daylight only.
